Whole Love Organics Feature

Several weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Grace, the woman behind Whole Love Organics. After taking a look at her products (and the great prices) I knew I had to give them a shot. Now, I’ll never look back.

Another thing that drew me in is that all of the ingredients are always listed on the product itself so there’s never any guessing about what you’re putting on your body. For example, this is the label on the back of my Whole Love Organics sunscreen that I use everyday.

Grace was kind enough to send me a wide selection of products to try out. She sent magnesium oil roller balls (so amazing), several different lip balms, dry shampoo and a baby bottom salve. I also use and love the organic sunscreen + organic deodorant she has for sale in her shop.

Max just so happened to get a diaper rash right after I received the baby bottom salve. I still had to use a fairly strong diaper cream during the day, but I was putting the salve on at night. His diaper rash was gone super fast!

Many women know that good lip balms are hard to find. They either don’t work, don’t smell that good or just feel gross when they’re on. Her lip balms are amazing! They smell so great, actually work, and feel good even after wearing them for awhile. They even work under or over lipsticks or stains. I make sure I have one in every single compartment of our diaper bag so that I can always find one of her lip balms whenever I need it! (If you need suggestions on which to try, she sent me Cinnamon Orange, Lavender Vanilla + Peppermint and they’re all to die for.)

The magnesium oil roller balls are just as great. First off, they smell so good. The citrus, even though I really love citrus scented items as it is, is incredible. She also sent a Breathe Easy oil, which can be used on infants 6 months and up, but we just haven’t needed to use it quite yet! I will note that it smells great, as well. I apply the citrus scented blend multiple times a day simply because I love it so much and it helps me “wake up” a bit. You can pick your own scent for nearly every product available in her shop. You’ll always be able to choose exactly what works best for you and your family.

Why are magnesium oils so amazing? Many people are deficient in magnesium and don’t even know it. One in five people in the United States consume less than half of the daily intake of magnesium that is recommended. That’s crazy! Scientists have even gone as far as to say that being deficient in magnesium could be the “missing link” behind some illnesses. We all know that our skin is our biggest organ, so applying magnesium to the surface still allows it to absorb easily into our body. Several benefits of magnesium include increased sleep, reduced muscle aches and pains, easier relaxation and stress management and increased energy and better moods. Lots of women have said that taking magnesium also helps with PMS symptoms! (I still haven’t had my first postpartum period but I’ll be testing out this theory when the time comes!) I wish I would have learned about all of the benefits of magnesium years ago.

Last, but certainly not least, the dry shampoo.

I’m not even going to try and act like I wash my hair every day. Who has the time? Not this girl.

Before having Max, I washed it maybe every other day. Nowadays, it’s every 3 days or so. Although I will say that I’m very fortunate to not have very oily hair or skin. My hair will look like I just washed it until I hit the 3 day mark, and then it starts to get that kind of “piece-y” look before actually looking greasy and dirty.

I used to only be able to do one day of dry shampoo before having to just throw my hair up the next day. (Chances are, if my hair’s up in a messy bun or ponytail, it’s dirty and I can’t stand to touch it.)

Plus, aside from the look and feel of the hair, think about all of the junk you’re putting in it. I refuse to spray anything in my hair while I’m in the same room as Max because honestly, he doesn’t need to be breathing it in.

Traditional dry shampoos are loaded with parabens and sulfates – both of which are not good for you.

Many hair and body care companies realize this. However, their formulas remain the same. For example, it took Johnson & Johnson years of customers begging them to change their baby wash formula because it contained chemicals known to cause cancer. That was in baby products and it was somehow considered okay… So I don’t even want to think about what brands can put in products made for adults.

This dry shampoo is a game changer, you guys. I’ve gone without washing my hair for seven days. I probably won’t go the full seven days every single week, but just knowing that I can make a wash stretch a little bit longer if I need it to is nice. After about 4-5 days you do kind of have to get over not having that ‘just washed’ feeling, but I honestly didn’t care because it looked so good and you couldn’t even tell it was dirty. The amount of time I’ve saved thanks to not washing my hair + having to go through the trouble of styling it all over again makes it all worth it. And the amount of product you get for the price makes it even more worth it.

If you have dark hair, you know that dry shampoo can be super annoying. Even if the residue easily disappears when you comb it through, it still doesn’t look very natural afterwards or in the sunlight. Something that I love about Whole Love Organics is that there’s a version for light or dark hair. This means, all you brunettes and ladies with even darker hair colors can kiss white dry shampoo residue goodbye forever!

I’ll never use any other brand of dry shampoo. Ever. As long as Grace is making it, I’ll be buying it.

Along with the option of having it specifically made for light or dark hair, let’s not forget that you can choose a scent that you love! Grace suggested that lavender would be a great choice, but because of my asthma, I went with citrus. She has a selection of blends for you to choose from so you can pick a scent that works best for you!

Not only are all of these products great for your skin and body – but they’re all affordable. I can’t say enough good things about working with Grace and her brand as a whole.
